Chad Loveless - minister
Fountain Head Church of Christ

Chad Loveless is the full time preacher for the Fountain Head church of Christ.  Along with his pulpit duties he teaches a Wednesday night adult class and a Sunday morning adult class. Chad sees to the weekly newspaper advertisment in the Portland Progressive. Chad also writes and publishes the weekly bulliten, The Fountain of Life, and is a weekly contributor to the Fountain of Life Radio program heard every Sunday on Portland's local WQKR 1270AM. The bulletin and past sermons can be accessd through the church's web site - www.fountainheadchurchofchrist.org.  Chad is very involved in local evangelism and is willing to conduct free Bible studies for any who wish to learn more about God's word.

Chad grew up in Dickson, Tn and attended both Austin Peay state University and David Lipscomb University. Chad graduated from DLU in 1991 with a degree in English.  Bro. Loveless was a salesman at various locations in Nashville - the majority of the time at Cresent Home Furnishings. 

In Dickson, at the Walnut St. congregation, Chad learned the basics of becoming a productive child of God.  Bro. Loveless has always - since he was baptized in 1979, taken part in the worship of the Lord and has been a Bible school teacher since his mid twenties.  Chad has been on mission trips to Siberia, Russia and Guyana, South America.  Bro. Loveless has enjoyed being a camp counselor at two Christian camps and is still actively involved in camp. In 2000, Chad started to attend the Nashville School of Preaching located at the Crieve Hall church of Christ and he graduated in 2004. During that time Bro. Loveless filled in at various congregations and on graduation made it his goal to be a part time preacher and preach somewhere every Sunday. Since graduation, Bro. Loveless has preached in various congregations in Middle Tennessee and in Southern Kentucky.  In 2006, Chad was asked to fill in at the Fountain Head church of Christ and later that year asked to be the associate minister.  In September 2007, was asked to be the full time pulpit minister at Fountain Head and became the 20th preacher since 1946 to hold that position. 

Savannah, Dana, Emily, Peyton, Chad and Sarah Loveless moved from Jolton in 2008 and now live in Portland.  Bro. Loveless says, "The elders of the church at Fountain Head said I would always be the preacher as long as I preached the truth - so ya'll come hear the truth!"
